Psychotherapy

Psychologist in Fremantle — therapy with room to go deeper.

Real change rarely comes from a quick fix. I work with adults who are ready to understand what is happening beneath the surface — whether that is anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or a sense that something needs to shift. Therapy here moves at your pace, and goes as deep as you need it to.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You have tried to push through, but the same patterns keep coming back. You feel like you are managing on the surface but struggling underneath. You have had better periods, but something still feels unresolved. You know something needs to change but you are not sure where to start. You want more than coping strategies — you want to actually understand what is going on.

You are not alone, and you do not have to keep going it alone. Therapy is not about fixing what is broken. It is about understanding what is happening and building something more solid underneath.

Registered Psychologist

I am a registered psychologist based in Fremantle, Western Australia. I work with adults and young people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, stress, and low self-worth — and I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to any of them.

My practice draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy. What this means in practice is that I use whatever fits your situation. I am registered with AHPRA and work with adults individually and with couples. Sessions are available in person in Fremantle and via telehealth.

Depth over quick fixes — what that looks like in practice.

A lot of therapy focuses on managing symptoms. That is useful, and sometimes that is exactly what is needed. But many people come to me because they have already tried the tips and strategies, and something still is not shifting.

What I am interested in is what is underneath: the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that shape how you feel and behave today. That kind of work takes longer, but it also tends to produce more lasting change.

That said, I work with the whole picture. If you are struggling right now and need practical support first, that is where we start. Depth of work does not mean we ignore the immediate.

Ready to take the first step?

You do not need to know exactly what you want to talk about. A first session is a chance to meet, talk through what is going on, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

You can book online, or call or email if you would prefer to have a conversation first.
